As a panel met for the second time to address the extreme violence perpetrated by illegal aliens allowed to lurk on the streets of America, the left continues to double down.

Washington Post columnist E. J. Dionne recently wrote, “It’s never right to call other human beings ‘animals.’ It’s not something we should even have to debate. No matter how debased the behavior of a given individual or group, no matter how much legitimate anger that genuinely evil actions might inspire, dehumanizing others always leads us down a dangerous path.”

Wouldn’t not calling them out for what they are lead us down an even more dangerous path?

WASHINGTON—The vicious nature of MS-13 gang killings came to the fore again last week with the release of court documents detailing a grisly murder in Maryland.

Ten MS-13 members stabbed a victim more than 100 times, decapitated and dismembered him, and ripped his heart out before throwing him into a grave in Wheaton Regional Park, documents say.

Gang members had lured the victim to the park to kill him, an informant told police. The informant said he was part of the killing and led detectives to the gravesite on Sept. 5. The informant “further described the circumstances of the murder and detailed the choking, stabbing, decapitating, and dismembering the victim’s body before dumping it in the pre-dug hole,” according to the court document.

This incident only adds to MS-13’s “long litany of homicides and heinous crimes,” said Robert J. Bunker, an adjunct research professor at the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College. . .

Almost one-third of 214 U.S.-based MS-13 gang members arrested in an international sweep were invited into the United States by President Barack Obama’s “Unaccompanied Alien Children” policy.

The successful “Raging Bull’ sweep was announced by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Deputy Director Tom Homan in a joint press conference at ICE headquarters in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. . .

All Bets Off Against MS 13

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday promised an all-out assault on the brutal MS-13 street gang “just like we took Al Capone off the streets.”

Sessions said the gang’s members are suspected in a series of killings in New York City's suburbs and the U.S. “will use whatever laws we have” to get them off the street.

The new designation directs prosecutors to pursue all legal avenues, including racketeering, gun and tax laws, to target the gang, said Sessions, a Republican former U.S. senator from Alabama.

Sessions designated the gang with Central American ties as a "priority" for the Department of Justice's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces, which has historically focused on drug trafficking and money laundering. MS-13, or La Mara Salvatrucha, is generally known for extortion and violence rather than distributing and selling narcotics.

"They leave misery, devastation and death in their wake. They threaten entire governments. They must be and will be stopped," the attorney general said, while in Philadelphia.

The gang has become a prime target of President Trump's administration amid its broader crackdown on immigration. . .

Small Towns Ill Equipped Against MS 13

Fairfax County is a wealthy suburb in Virginia dotted with McMansions, upscale shopping malls and quiet cul-de-sacs.

But it is dealing with an issue not typically seen in the suburbs – a vicious gang infiltrating its schools and neighborhoods.

At least two teenagers were savagely killed. The culprit, some believe: MS-13 gang members.

Away from urban areas that have seen a rise in gang-related activity, MS-13’s brutality is turning up in small towns and communities across the country – places not always equipped or ready to deal with the growing and alarming threat.

In the last year or so, police say, the gang known for its execution-style shootings and machete-hacking deaths has cropped up in a tiny Colorado town, two Virginia suburbs and Annapolis, Md. In parts of Long Island, N.Y. MS-13 is terrorizing once-sleepy neighborhoods that are now experiencing a scourge of violent deaths. . .

Gang-like graffiti was sprayed on a church and a school in north Brampton overnight Thursday, according to Peel Regional Police.

Heart Lake United Church had symbols and words spraypainted on the exterior of the building, including “you can’t hid from us” and “MS-13”, which is the name of a notoriously violent Latin American gang that has spread throughout the United States.

An illegal immigrant MS-13 gang member the Obama administration had released on bond committed an unprovoked attack on a sheriff’s deputy, slugging the deputy as he worked on a traffic report while sitting in his car, the Frederick County, Md., sheriff’s department said Friday.

Jose Misael Reyes-Reyes, 18, had been arrested in May on weapons charges and in June on charges of malicious destruction of property, but federal immigration authorities had left him free on bond while he awaited a deportation hearing, the sheriff’s office said.

Given his age, Mr. Reyes-Reyes was potentially part of the recent surge of illegal immigrant children that overwhelmed the Border Patrol over the last few years, and who have now been shipped to communities across the country. . .

MS 13 Enforcer Kills Traitor in Va.

A 17-year-old MS-13 gang member known as “the Enforcer” of Sterling, Virginia, shot and killed a high school student on orders handed down from gang leaders in El Salvador because the boy had left the gang and joined a rival group, according to testimony given Thursday by law enforcement officials investigating the homicide.

The testimony was given during a preliminary hearing in Loudoun County for two illegal Salvadoran immigrants accused of stashing the gun used in the September killing. It sheds new light on the motivation for a homicide that has elicited outrage from a U.S. senator.

The juvenile charged with first-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Danny Centeno-Miranda has not been publicly named because he has not been charged as an adult. . .
