Secure US Border Will Create Crisis in Mexico?

If President-elect Donald Trump follows through on his campaign promises, the United States will have stronger security on the Mexican border and will deport illegal immigrants with criminal records. While this could reduce the problems on the U.S. side of the border, the situation in Mexico may get worse before it gets better.
Mexican drug cartels have supplied an epidemic of addiction and crime in the United States, and have been the focus of the War on Drugs, which has caused what some estimate to be 100,000 deaths since Dec. 11, 2006.
Trump is “attempting to influence the global economy to protect the U.S. middle class,” which includes looking to better secure the Mexican border, said Dr. Robert J. Bunker, division of politics and economics at Claremont Graduate University.

He added, however, that there is a “very real potential for unexpected blowback” for the security of Mexico.
“The Mexican state is more fragile than many suspect,” he said in an email, and noted the coming changes will likely cause a larger number of illegal immigrants from throughout Latin America to stay below the border, in turn leading to more aggression from cartels and infighting that may be “too much for the Mexican government to readily contain.”
At the same time, Bunker said, “the Mexican cartels will not sit idly by while their product is not getting into the U.S. Rather, we can expect them to implement countermeasures against beefed up U.S. border security.” . . .

Manufacturing Grenades on the Southern Border

A Tuesday raid conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as well as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement netted six individuals in Texas, including one who was in the country illegally, all for manufacturing grenades and selling them to undercover agents.
The proximity to the southern border, as well as the involvement of an illegal alien, brought up issues of violence and border security yet again. . .

Migrant Surge Is Not Letting Up

Customs and Border chief: Migrant surge not letting up
DONNA, TEXAS: The surge of Central American families seeking asylum at U.S. borders is not letting up, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske said Wednesday after touring a temporary holding facility in the Rio Grande Valley set up to manage the influx.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection chief Gil Kerlikowske stands with agents as he waits to address the media at a temporary holding facility, Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, in Donna, Texas. The tent facility is primarily being used as a temporary holding site for children and families who have entered the county illegally. Kerlikowske said the number of apprehensions along the southwestern border can be close to 2,000 a day, with most people turning themselves in.

The number of apprehensions along the southwestern border can be close to 2,000 a day — with most people turning themselves in, Kerlikowske said in a phone interview. The November influx was as high as what was seen in October: 46,195, he said.
The precise monthly number is to be announced next week. . .

CJNG Sicarios in Baja California

Border Violence: The Most Wanted CJNG Sicarios in Baja California

Original Article at ZETA

During the last two years, state authorities denied the presence of the CJNG in Tijuana, however their presence was detected by police forces when they became victims of armed attacks.

CJNG started with the control of the area of Sanchez Taboada, and they extended their presence by taking control of  La Presa, El Florido, Cañadas, Terrazas, Villas del Campo and the entrance to Tecate. Today, 8 of the 10 most wanted for murder, are CJNG recruits.

The names of minor criminals, drug dealers and thief’s are being summed up to the list of investigations for murder in Tijuana, their numbers continue to rise, and they don’t do anything but to fatten the list of the Most Wanted, which was created by the Coordination Group of Baja California, and shows the lack of coordination between the Government of Peña Nieto and the Coordination Group of Baja California.

The wallet of criminals who are presumably involved in murders identify by the Coordination Group, according to declarations from the Secretary of Public Security of Baja California, Daniel de la Rosa Anaya, in 2014 there were 64 names. In November 18, of 2016, De la Rosa informed that they are concentrating their efforts on those 10 that head the list. . .

Trump's Wall Will Redirect but Not Stop

Opinion: Trump’s wall could redirect, but not stop, the flow of people and goods

By Scott Steward

About a month has passed since U.S. voters chose their next president, and over the past few weeks it has become a little clearer how the policies of President Donald Trump will differ from the promises of candidate Trump.
As we have seen since January 2009, when newly elected President Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize for his campaign pledges of change and hope, reality has a way of constraining a leader’s ability to effect real change. More often than not, the policies that presidents put into practice look very different from the ideas they put forth on the campaign trail.
The same will probably be true of Trump’s vow to seal the U.S.-Mexico border by building a wall. One of the biggest problems with this proposal is that the flow of illegal immigrants and contraband between the two countries is not a simple matter of physical security, international relations, or customs and immigration law. Rather, the cross-border movement of goods and people is driven by formidable economic forces that are powerful enough to overwhelm any barrier — just as they have with walls built for the same purpose in the past. . .

Cruz Channels Trump

Cruz Channels Trump
By Cortney O'Brien
You may have thought it was President-elect Donald Trump sitting down to talk with local law enforcement officers at a border security roundtable in McAllen, Texas on Friday. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took a page out of Trump's rhetorical playbook after the roundtable discussion, slamming the Obama White House for continuing to release "murderers" and "rapists."
Cruz Channels Trump at Mexican Border
"This administration, for eight years, has persisted in releasing criminal illegal aliens," he told local news media. "Every year, they release murderers, they release rapists. They release burglars and people who have committed violent crimes. And that has got to change."
Of course, Cruz is not being hyperbolic. Too many stories exist of Americans being killed by dangerous illegal immigrants. One of the more talked about tragedies was that of Kate Steinle, a young woman who was killed last summer in the sanctuary city of San Francisco by an illegal immigrant who had been previously deported. . .

Murderer of Patrol Agent Arrested Illegally Crossing Border

By Bob Price
A Mexican national who was deported from the U.S. after serving 11 years in prison for the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jorge Salomon-Martinez in 2003 was apprehended after he illegal re-entered the United States Sunday.
Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector arrested Francisco Javier Rosas-Molina after he illegally crossed the border into Arizona on Sunday, the Tucson Sentinel reported. Rosas-Molina was one of four men who beat Agent Salomon-Martinez to death when he was off-duty in Mexico in 2003. The beating occurred after Rosas-Molina learned that Salomon-Martinez was a Border Patrol agent. Rosas-Molina had been deported from the U.S. multiple times before this murder.

“The men sneaked up behind him Salomon and beat him, pelting him with rocks until they eventually crushed his skull with a 50-pound rock,” Mexican prosecutors stated according to the Tuscon newspaper. The murder occurred near the town of Bacocahi, Sonora, Mexico, about forty miles south of the Arizona border. . .

Border Insecurity Is An Existential Threat To America

By Molly O'Toole

“In comparison to other global threats, the near collapse of societies in the hemisphere with the associated drug and [undocumented immigrant] flow are frequently viewed to be of low importance,” Kelly told Defense One. “Many argue these threats are not existential and do not challenge our national security. I disagree.”

1000s of Special Interest Aliens Caught at Border

By Bob Price
August 18 2016

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents working with Mexican immigration officials have found thousands of non-Hispanic illegal immigrants crossing Mexico’s southern border to make their way to Texas. The “extra-continental” immigrants enter countries as far south as Brazil and make their way to the United States, often with forged travel documents.

“The reality is that the vast majority of the people that Mexico encounters [on its southern border] that are extra-continental will eventually end up on our border,” a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official told Reuters this week. The Reuters article confirmed the Syrian nationals reported at the Mexican border with Laredo last year by Breitbart Texas’s Brandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz are part of this growing pattern of illegal migration. Just a few days after that, Darby and this writer broke the news of six men from Pakistan and Afghanistan being arrested about sixteen miles inside the United States in Arizona. Those men were quickly snatched up from the Border Patrol’s custody by the FBI. Shortly after that, five more Syrian Nationals were detained at the Laredo port of entry. . .

DREAMer Speech at DNC Shows Poor Judgment by Sec. Clinton

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd called Secretary Clinton decision to give illegal immigrant Astrid Silva a national stage poor judgment and reckless. Flaunting the breaking of our nation’s immigrations laws will only encourage additional illegal immigration and further endanger agents. It is puzzling that as Americans grow more anxious about their security in light of terrorist attacks at home and abroad, the DNC and Secretary Clinton glorify lawlessness.

NBPC Statement on Hillary Clinton's Immigration Policies

History will not look kindly on President Obama’s border security policies and his conscientious efforts to mislead the American people. Historians may refer to this period as the “Era of No Consequences,” which resulted in the increase of dangerous drugs like meth and heroin, as well as criminal aliens flooding our communities. Obama’s efforts to deceive the American public about border security, in order to pursue amnesty programs that were eventually rejected by Congress and the American people will go down as this Administration’s biggest -- and deadliest -- lie.

US-Mexico Border Visit

Brandon Darby with Paul Nehlen on BorderHe said the unannounced, no law enforcement, dangerous tour in the darkness, no physical barrier to the “fricken beheading ISIS-like” Los Zetas Cartel, is designed to let politicians see and feel what Border Patrol agents feel. Darby said the tour was no “Potemkin Village.”

The importance of political leaders traveling to the border to take the “Breitbart Border Tour,” was the topic Breitbart Texas Managing Director Brandon Darby discussed when joining Stephen K. Bannon and Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily.
